Several suspects arrested for contravening the lockdown rules and regulations

While conducting operations in the Paulpietersburg area, the Zululand Cluster Task Team arrested a 46-year-old suspect for possession of an unlicensed firearm. Police recovered a 9mm pistol along with eight live rounds of ammunition.
Paulpietersburg police officers arrested a 25-year-old suspect for illegally selling liquor during national lockdown, which is in contravention of Act 26 (1) read with Regulation 31 (2).
The Nongoma Tracing Team arrested one suspect for selling, dispensing and distributing liquor during national lockdown.
