Vryheid High makes an impact both locally and abroad

Love was in the air this week at Vryheid High, as the learners celebrated Valentine’s Day with a sokkie under the stars.
Vryheid High always has learners taking part in the Midmar Mile.
This year was no exception, as C Henstock and B Hellberg completed the event under difficult conditions.
The first rugby team found time between its gruelling practice schedule to make a difference in the community.
The team has taken it upon itself to uplift others, by offering time for community service, together making a difference locally.
The school does not just aim at making a difference locally, but also aim at making a difference globally.
Luthando Sithole was chosen by the United Nations World Health Organisation to represent South Africa in Indonesia.

Luthando was one of only two representatives chosen from South Africa.
He made such an impact at the conference, UNICEF has selected him to represent the organisation at the next conference in Thailand.
