IFP member narrowly escapes death on Weenen road

"There is politics in these killings, and there is a list of IFP leaders and councillors to be assassinated through political infighting"

Mr Sithole’s brother was also a victim of violence, as IFP Constituency Chairperson Mthembeni Majola explains: “This incident is followed by brutal killing of his brother Mr Siphiwe Mbho Sithole who was shot and stoned to death near Weenen Combined School on February 4. His funeral was held on February 11.”

Mr Majola is concerned that IFP leaders are being targeted.
