Huawei Joburg Day goes perfectly well

EMMARENTIA – Huawei Joburg Day puts smiles on the faces of those in attendance.

The Emmarentia Botanical Gardens was the perfect venue for lovers of South African music to experience some of their favourite artists.

Thanks to Huawei and 94.7 FM, Huawei Joburg Day in the Park called on a group of superstar performers, such as Micasa, Tresor, BeatenBerg, Mathew Mole, Sho Madjozi and the legendary TKZee to ensure that every one in attendance had a splendid time.

The highlight of the day was when TKZee took to the stage to perform some of their classics from the 22-year-old album Halloween. Fans sang their heart outs to every song that Tokollo Tshabalala, Kabelo Mabalane and Zwai Bala performed. Another moment that grabbed the hearts of many was when DJ Zinhle brought out her adorable daughter, Kario, on stage along with Tamera Day and FB towards the end of her set.

With the show coming to an end fans chanted ‘we want more’ as Prince Kaybee’s slot came to an end. Unfortunately the show was scheduled to end at 6pm and the organisers had to follow through with their times. Huawei and 94.7 FM did vow to host another show in the near feature where the promise to bring the party right back to where it was left.
