An upcoming album aims to encourage and support upcoming artists to collaborate with music heavyweights.
Titan Baldwin, member of the legendary group Denim, is making another power move in the music industry.
He is planning to release his debut compilation album called Jozi State Various Artists under his record label Jozi State Records.
The album will give upcoming artists an opportunity to collaborate and work with some of the countries hottest artists.
Baldwin said, “My main aim is to have Jozi State Various Artists album contributing significantly to the South African music scene and more specifically working towards becoming a proud ambassador of SA music on the world stage.”
Baldwin, who has written and produced hit songs such as It’s So Clear by Mandoza and featuring Sasha-Lee Davids as well as I Like by Denim featuring Bricks and KDO, said this initiative will assist newcomers to get a foot into the industry.
“The aim is to have a lot of new talent elevated by the platform,” adding that this goal is the top priority of this album.
The album is currently in its final stages of production and will be released later this year.
