EMMARENTIA – The seventh annual Parklife Gourmet Food and Music Festival is happening tomorrow.
Fans of music and the outdoors are in for a treat as the seventh annual Parklife Gourmet Food and Music Festival is happening tomorrow.
The festival will take place at Marks Park in Emmarentia on Saturday 27 January, and will headline multi-platinum selling Australian duo Angus and Julia Stone along with local rising star Alice Phoebe Lou.
Angus and Julia Stone are celebrating a career that spans over 10 years and have released countless hits since first performing together in 2006. Johannesburg fans can look forward to seeing their favourite songs performed live with a selection of timeless gems.
Another reason why fans of the festival can be excited, is the addition of the We Love Summer stage. A selection of South Africa’s top DJ’s will entertain audiences on this stage.
The Nux stage also returns to the festival after a four-year absence and will present a few up-and-coming artists in an intimate setting located in the gourmet food court.
During the first two years of the festival, acts such as Matthew Mole, Beatenberg, Nakhane Toure and December Streets made their Parklife debut on this stage.
