Do a good deed and win tickets to Liefde by die Dam

Love always wins!

The Liefde by die Dam concert will not only be bringing the cream of the crop in South African music together in one place, it will also run a charity drive in partnership with Liefde Wen.

The concert will take place on 6 August at the Emmarentia Dam and organisers have asked attendees to bring a spare blanket along to give to Liefde Wen who will hand them over to charity.

For the Emmarentia concert, organisers are doing a little more. They are requesting people to upload photos of themselves doing good deeds on the Liefde by Die Dam Facebook event page as well as on Instagram and Twitter to win prizes. Prizes include tickets to the concert, merchandise as well as a private show by Die Heuwels Fantasties.

When photos are uploaded, the official hashtags #LiefdeWen and #LiefdByDieDam are to be used.

Last year’s blankets were donated to Youthzones, a network established in partnership with the 2010 Soccer World Cup Local Organising Committee to ensure the World Cup makes a sustainable impact on South African youth.

Youthzones then distributed the blankets to various organisations which partner with them.
