Get ready, Emmarentia, Liefde by die Dam is around the corner.
The concert, named after Valiant Swart’s chart-topping hit, will take place on 6 August and promises to be fun for music lovers of all ages. The event is a showcase of the best in the South African music scene.

The event’s main act is Die Heuwels Fantasties with Francios van Coke, Fokofpolisiekar and Van Coke Kartel frontman, joining them on stage.
In addition to these two big acts, Majozi, South African Music Award (Sama) nominee will also be performing his foot stomping, electro-indie rock.
The other stages will have acts from various music genres; from rap to Afrikaans favourites. Other artists include Afrikaans favourites, Laurika Rauch and Riana Nel as well as Tresor, JR, Jo Black and guitar virtuoso Loki Rothman.
What is a concert without good food? A range of South Africa’s best artisan food traders will be ready on the day to feed the masses. If you prefer your own goodies, picnic baskets and blankets are more than welcome at the event.
In addition to picnic blankets, concertgoers are called upon to bring old blankets for the concert’s Wen Altyd charity drive which will be collected and donated to local charities.
