Municipal News: The City of Johannesburg has plans to reabsorb municipal entities into the City’s administration. These entities, such as City Power, Pikitup, Metrobus and Johannesburg Water, among others, are run as separate companies, but wholly owned by the City. Now, the administration plans to be more involved in running them.
On this day in history: 2007, South African Actor, Henry Cele , dies. He was a revered actor, most famous for his chilling portrayal of the Zulu King, Shaka in the 1985 mini-series, Shaka Zulu. He was a professional soccer player before he ventured into acting.
