Escape to planet Rage

JOBURG – The Rage exhibition is back and calling all gamers for new and exciting releases.

The month of October brings Rage, South Africa’s largest annual video gaming, computer, technology and geek culture exhibition, back to the TicketPro Dome.

Over the course of the weekend, from 7 to 9 October, enthusiastic fans descend on the venue for three days of gaming, technology, gadgets, pop culture and geek-lifestyle entertainment. Many call it the gaming event of the year, where you can escape your reality for a single day or even the whole weekend.

Rage provides a platform to touch and feel, as well as try and experiment with new gaming technology. It is the place to go each year to see all the latest gaming-related goodies presented in an accessible way and be surrounded by people who all share the same passion.

You can buy new games and consoles, chat with local comic-book artists, or take selfies with your favourite cosplayers. The show is a glimpse into the future and about trying out new things and getting some hands-on time before you make your purchasing decisions.

The exhibition begins on Friday from 10am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 6pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Day tickets cost R120 per person and weekend tickets are R300 per person. Both tickets are available at the door or via TicketPro outlets. Children under six get in for free.
