Bergbron in darkness as substation burns

Gordon Road in Bergbron has been closed off by the police since the fire started.

Residents from surrounding areas are experiencing power outages due to the substation fire.

According to the I love Fairland Northcliff Facebook page, the Florida Glen substation is on fire and as a result, many residents are without power.

Police are on the scene and have barricaded the substation, according to residents on social media. The cause of fire is still unknown.
