Nickelodeon (DStv channel 305) are hosting their annual How’loween celebration at Johannesburg Zoo on 31 October.
Starting at 10am a feast of silly, spooky How’loween activities await kids and families as they pass through the bright orange entrance.
Expect a host of festive trick-or-treat activities and prizes galore all over the Zoo, as it is transformed for one day only into a magical wonderland.
You could try your hand at Mystery Bowls where you’ll have to rummage through three giant vats filled with icky, sticky, gooey things…
Or join Nickelodeon at the friendly Jack-in-the-Box station.
Go dressed up in your most creative How’loween costumes and you could win a prize hamper!
More How’loween-themed fun includes a movie screening of Liar, Liar Vampire, haunted zones, clowns, stilt walkers, balloon sculptures, and face painting.
To keep everyone on the right track, each child will get a helpful map with directions to all the activities, plus a goody bucket to fill with treats.
Pack your picnic baskets with tasty treats and enjoy a yummy night-time snack among the flickering fairy lights. Or enjoy some tempting delicacies at Café Figo – they have also provided a giant screen where they can watch the Grand Final of the Rugby World Cup!
Tickets for Howl’oween are available at the gate and on computicket – R100 adults, R60 pensioners and kids 4–12.
