Daniel Baron reflects on his career

NORTHCLIFF – Daniel Baron has teamed up with Afrikaans group ADAM for his latest single 'Say what you want"

Singer, songwriter, and Northcliff-based resident Daniel Baron has recently collaborated with popular Afrikaans boy band ADAM (Hugo Ludik, Reynardt Hugo and Kyle Grant) with their latest single entitled Say what you want.

Baron was excited at the opportunity to officially release music with the Afrikaans boy band. “I’ve been working with ADAM for a long time now, in terms of writing songs for them. This whole new collaboration was kinda in the background till the interest popped from both my side and ADAM’s. It was truly a wonderful experience,” he said.

The single has already been released in Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg by the European record label, Red Bullet, in May. The song was written by Hugo Ludik and Daniel Baron,

Founder of ADAM Hugo Ludik explained that the collaboration with Baron was a ‘no-brainer’. “The choice to do the song together as a collaboration didn’t take much thought or time. Both Daniel and ourselves identified with every single part of the song from the lyrics to the melody and production and felt that our musical strengths combined would turn this song into a big hit, as well as a song we can be proud of. We are hoping that this song will get as much airplay worldwide as it deserves,” he said.

Apart from this recent collaboration Baron explained that his career has been doing really well since the launch of his latest album Apollo. “I am so thankful toward my fans. We’ve really had some positive feedback from them,” he said.

Baron pointed out that the key to his success has always been to work hard and to strike a healthy balance between his music career and his personal life. “Making a name for yourself in the music industry is a lot of hard work. I always try to bring something new to the forefront when I release new material. My personal life and family have always been equally important to me as my career,” he concluded

The new single will feature on the soon to be released deluxe version of the Apollo album. An official music for Say what you want has also been produced and filmed, and will be making the rounds soon.
