Teacher by day, comedian at night

JOBURG - During the day he teaches people how to improve their lives and at night he puts on his best funny face to make them laugh.

COMEDIAN and life coach Andrew Simpson wants to make his audience forget about their troubles and have a good laugh for one night only.

He has been performing his one-man show, To Kill A Koeksister, at the Joburg Theatre since 19 November and his last show will be on 8 December. The comedy is a murder mystery where the audience becomes part of the show.

“I love theatre and the interaction with the audience,” he said. Simpson is a professional life coach and teacher from Buccleuch. His profession and his pastime are the ingredients that make up this talented humorist. “I will not stop either of them, they work well together. I want to help people see life in a positive way and have fun.”

During the day he teaches people how to improve their lives and at night he puts on his best funny face to make them laugh.

“To Kill A Koeksister is a fun show, it is nothing too serious and it’s the best time of the year for a fun show like this to end off 2013,” he said.
