As the country readies itself in anticipation of the Springboks giving their best at the Rugby World Cup, the Linden community revels in the fact that one of their own, Jean Kleyn, will form part of this phenomenal team.
This Springbok’s alma mater, Hoërskool Linden, celebrated the achievement of the rugby player. Leading in the celebration, is the school’s first-team rugby players. These young men share their words of encouragement to Jean Kleyn and the whole rugby team.

Sandile Gumede: Jean Kleyn, we as Linden just want to say good luck at the World Cup. We are very proud of you and can’t wait to see you play! Good luck with the World Cup to the Bokke. I know you will give your best and make our country proud. Simi emva kwenu nonke. Gooooo Bokke!Aiden Davel: Jean Kleyn, you are so far one of the greatest examples that have ever walked Linden’s grounds and one of the best rugby players that have ever existed in Linden’s history. Our whole school supports you and is incredibly proud of you. Bokke, since I was a child, I have looked up to you and I still do now.
