The top three runners of the SPAR Women’s Challenge Joburg 10km race have crossed the finish line and Helalia Johannes clinched the win.
This seals her winning streak as she has won all six of the races in the SPAR Women’s Challenge Series.
Crossing the finish line in second place is the 2019 Comrades Marathon Champion Gerda Steyn who placed second and former Joburg champion Irvette van Zyl placed third.

In the 5km race, Machismo Khunedi crossed the finish line first and Tlou Ntokozo placed second. Both of these runners are from the Murray and Roberts Running Club.
