Fairland Tennis Club in full force

FAIRLAND – Young players rev it up at the Fairland Tennis Club.

Tennis balls have never been hit harder than they have at Fairland Tennis Club recently.

Young players are training with all their might under coaches of Kinetik Tennis Academy, ahead of upcoming leagues and tournaments organised by Get Set Play.

These events include a brand new Tennis Night Life league which is open to players of all skills and ages.

This is run over six weeks and started on 24 January.

“We want to get parents on board with their children too,” explained Get Set Play owner, Rensia de Lange.

“It’s a doubles format but there are three players in a team. There is a 40-minute time limit for matches so we just play tie-breakers. It is a fun and short format of tennis.”

The rules for this league are explained on the company’s website.
