Growing Champions making strides in the Rand Central League
NORTHCLIFF – They are growing into champions.
Playing in their new donated kit, the Growing Champions U13 and U17 teams won their games in the Rand Central League.
The U13 team played against Emmarentia Sporting FC at the Pirates Club and won 4–2 and the U17 team beat Wits Juniors 1–0 at Marks Park.
“We are very happy to have started this season on such a high note with both teams winning,” said the founder of Growing Champions, Samatha Toweel-Moore.
“We would like to urge people to donate as much as possible to Growing Champions because we do not have any sporting equipment, we also don’t have our own training grounds so we would appreciate any donations coming from the community.”
