LYME PARK – Parktown Boys High School faced tough opposition at the Saints Sports Festival 2018.

Parktown Boys’ High School first rugby team faced tough opposition at the Saints Sports Festival 2018.

In a match filled with hard knocks, Rondebosch Boys’ High School’s skills proved to be too much for Parktown’s defence with the Joburg team going down 35–12 to the Capetonians.

Parktown’s coach, Andrew van Zyl said, “I think we did amazingly well on our forward exchanges, but the Western Cape teams were physically bigger, so it was a struggle for our boys.”

In their second game, Parktown came close to victory after narrowly losing to Graeme College 16–15.

On the last day of the tournament on 2 April, the Parktonians lost to Grey High School Port Elizabeth 0-61.

Van Zyl added, “We are very confident going into our next season and I wish our boys all the best.”
