King David plays for the win

VICTORY PARK – King David Victory Park hosts a successful sport week where they come out victorious.

King David High School Victory Park  held a successful sports week which saw them pitted against Glenvista High School (GHS) .

The sensational week saw King David win three of the four age categories the school participated in.

King David’s rugby teams did exceptionally well. Their U15 team won 48–0, the U16s won 15–7, the 1st team was victorious 19–12, while the U14s lost 39–5.

Rugby was not the only sport played during the week, as marketing manager for the school, Nirvana Rogers explained, “Not to be outdone by the boys, our girls’ netball teams also played their hearts out.”

The netball players were up against Northriding High School School (NHS) and won all of their matches.

“It was evident the hard work from the coaches and players paid off, as not only did the teams enjoy a fantastic afternoon of sport, their outstanding results worked wonders for their confidence in playing sports,” said Rogers.
