Wishing Wells Nursery School and Baby Care supported The Cows in their mission to cycle to raise funds for children with cancer.
Every year the school holds a small fundraiser for a charity, for example Sprayathon or Woodrock. This year, the principal of Wishing Wells, Sandy Brodie, decided to support Choc, the Childhood Cancer Foundation of South Africa, because a local resident, Steve Brookes, will participate in the Cape Argus as part of The Cows charity, which is affiliated with Choc.

Wishing Wells held a ‘Mini Argus’ as their fund raiser on 4 March. The children cycled around the play area on their bikes and completed 20 laps. The total amount raised from the event was R530.
