Glowing gorgeous

JOBURG - Ever been to a race where to glow is the only fashion?

Neon Run is South Africa’s most electric and glowing 5km run taking place in Johannesburg on 17 May.

Be prepared to be wonderstruck as you glide through different ‘glow zones’ and end the night off with an epic music festival with entertainment by some of South Africa’s top artists including Chris Talyor, Dean Fuel, Short Straw, The Kiffness and 5FM’s Roger Goode.

Neon Run SA aims to bring thousands of people of all ages and nationalities together under the night skies in one exciting and unique event. It’s all about having fun and experiencing the Neon lifestyle, whether you are running, walking, skating, rollerblading or cycling as an individual or in a group.

“After months of planning the Neon Run we are so excited to be launching this unique event in South Africa,” said event manager and FourFire director Tavis Brown. “We have had an amazing response and look forward to this electric event!”

The run takes place from 3pm to 11pm at the Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. Tickets cost R220 per person or R180 per person for group entries of four people or more. Children’s tickets cost R90. All tickets come with glow sticks.
