Following the article, Price[e]-learning, Week ending 20 January, Kobus Coetsee from Roodepoort writes:
My domestic worker’s Grade 11 child went a whole year without books because she could not pay for e-books. She was helped by her friends with screenshots of the work throughout the year. She was requested by the school to pay the full amount for the e-books for this year by the end of November last year, which she did because we sponsored the payment for the books.
The Roodepoort Northsider contacted the school regarding this letter and the response will be published as soon as it is received.
