Power failures Northcliff, Fairland, Blackheath, Roosevelt Park, Corriemore etc.

Firstly we have the Roosevelt Park substation fire and all the above and more areas have no power for three days, a few weeks later another problem and again no power for three days.

Most people know why we are having these problems but City Power will have all sorts of excuses most of them outright lies.

The worst of the power failures was Saturday this weekend 15 minutes before the SA – Scottish world cup game plus England and Australia.

If they are looking for a total mass protest with rugby fans they will surely get one.

It was almost if this was planned.

The worst is there is never any warning and no communication which makes it much worse.

It certainly is causing some really bad relationships amongst home owners and businesses.

There is a total hate attitude towards City Power and most government departments.

At the same time there is a huge increase in the monthly power costs after all these power cuts, plus massive incorrect billing that they never sort out.

Crime in these areas is affected by power failures.

It’s all on the up, as it’s a perfect time for robberies, not to mention the huge costs in equipment being affected with power surges, light sensors, TV, computers, gate motors, microwaves, main electrical boards, flat batteries on all security systems etc.

Damaged food in fridges and freezers during the three day power failures.

Where is it going to end, when we all stop paying for services?
