The SRC president at Wits University deserves a thumbs up

AUCKLAND PARK – Zane Mdluli commends Mcebo Dlamini for helping secure funds for Wits students who needed financial assistance.

Zane Mdluli writes:

South African youth should learn more from Mcebo Dlamini’s leadership, his dedication to help people to emerge from the darkness, particularly blacks who are from poorest backgrounds. Mcebo is very determined in what he believes is right for this country. I have been watching and reading about him throughout the media; he is a very civilised young leader who believes in free education and he portrays Mandela’s qualities, when he shows the gratitude in helping those who lack. Even though the Department of Education has weakened their hands on helping thousands of students with funds, Mcebo never gave up on his philosophy on helping students. His team and other privileged students managed to raise funds for students that would have been taken out of the university premises. In this time of our lives, we need people like Mcebo who advocates that South African youth shouldn’t be denied education due to a lack funds or having a poor financial background.
