Wild excitement has filled the streets surrounding Mark's Park as thousands of runners have set off for the first in-person SPAR Women's Challenge Jozi since before lockdown.

The SPAR Women’s Challenge Jozi is underway with thousands of enthusiastic runners and walkers hitting the streets to participate in either the 5km or 10km races.
The starting gun saw a sea of ecstatic faces and massive cheers erupt from the crowd.

With unbeatable weather and beautiful medals to be won, the atmosphere at Mark’s Park is electric as women celebrate the first in-person SPAR Women’s Challenge Jozi since the Covid-19 lockdown.
Ethiopian runner Tadu Nare has an unassailable lead in the SPAR Grand Prix and will win the Grand Prix today, regardless of her finishing position.
