Fellow cat lover and founder of Good Things Guy, Brent Lindeque entertained guests and saved the best part of the morning till last. Whiskas dry food worth R15 000 was donated to the incredible Wollies Animal Shelter.

“This is a fantastic donation but will be used up in no time at all. We ask everyone here to promote the work of Woolies and get the word out that they need support and donations all the time to be able to care for animals in distress,” said Lindeque.

“This extraordinary generosity will go a long way to helping us help animals we care for. At present we have 400 cats on site with over 200 feral ones we look after,” said Cilla Trexler, founder of the shelter.

“We are always looking for people who want to come and spend some time with our special cats as they need a bit of love and attention now more than ever. If you end up adopting one, that’s truly when the magic happens.”
