Things get wild in Victory when Julian Wilder is there

The animal lover was at De La Salle Holy Cross College Junior School where he brought exotic animals for learners to see up close.

Things got really wild at De La Salle Holy Cross College Junior School when the Wild Ones Educational Animal Shows and Rescue Assistance thrilled the schools Grade 5s with a closer look at some wild animals.

The presentation was hosted by the organisation’s owner, Julian Wilder who brought all sorts of exotic animals to teach the children about caring for pets other than our usual cats and dogs.

This presentation was a topical one, as the class was reading The One and Only Ivan, which tells the heart-felt story of Ivan, a silverback who is kept in a cage for most of his life. Many fears were faced as most of the children held the snakes and other reptiles that Wilder brought with him.
