Three pairs of diamond earrings are being raffled off for the Community Cleaners

Funds raised will go toward continuing with their efforts to ensure shared open green spaces are well-kept and safe for the community to enjoy.

Fundraising for community-led organisations is often difficult, but the Community Cleaners have the backing of their entire community.

In a WhatsApp group where they share details of what public parks will be cleaned and when, they also make known what they need, to which residents often respond with donations.

They have been generously given three sets of diamond earrings, which will be raffled off for much-needed funds to enable them to continue cleaning public parks and shared open spaces in Fairland, Berario, Northcliff and Valeriedene.

All earrings have been authenticated and come with a written valuation. Tickets cost R50 each or R200 for five.

Diamond earing values:

  1. 1st prize: R31 050
  2. 2nd prize: 15 400
  3. 3rd prize: R9 800

Details: Hugo on 082 779 1605 or Ryan on 084 567 5558.
