You’re never too young to learn about nature and conservation

From not wasting water to the basics of recycling, these little learners enjoyed a fun-filled day.

Earth Day which is celebrated in April is an international day of awareness aimed at protecting and enjoying nature.

Wishing Wells Nursery School in Blackheath went to great lengths to ensure their little learners had an exciting but also educational day. They learned about plants, why looking after the earth was important, and how they could be water-wise.

Teachers had created several information boards, plants, and other props from which learners were taught about important life skills with a green focus which they will carry into their adult lives.
