The CCIN receives brand new Nissan from Northcliff dealership

The vehicle will be used to help find missing people among other vital services that the organisation offers.

The fight against crime has been given a tremendous boost as the Civilian Crime Intelligence Network (CCIN) recently received a brand-new Nissan from Morgan Nissan in Northcliff.

The dealership run by Hugh Morgan donated the car to the CCIN to assist them with their important work they do.

At the handover, Colin Thorpe who works with Morgan said it was ‘a privilege to be of assistance to such an incredible non-profit’.

The new vehicle wrapped in a lovely bow for the special event.

Fairland resident Mahmood Cassim heads the Vulnerable Citizens Support Initiative’s (VCSI) missing persons department and works with the Fairland CPF. He said, “This vehicle will be put to very good use to help us do our work more easily. When someone is reported missing it is imperative that we immediately set in motion a chain reaction to locate the individual and return them home safely. This car will make an enormous difference in our ability to mobilise and move around in order to help us achieve our goal.”

The VCSI is entirely funded by volunteers.

“Our members at VCSI are also increasingly finding distressed families in dire need of basic foodstuffs just to survive. We cannot help everyone but we have helped several families with food parcels for a month or two, clothing, blankets and some essentials as a short-term solution.”

Hendrick De Klerk, Johnny Loots, Colin Thorpe, Reza Patel and Mayor of Mogale City, Tyrone Gray.

Head of CCIN Mikail Reza particularly thanked Johnny Loots, CEO of BCI Security Johnny Loots who engineered the sponsorship with Morgan Nissan Northcliff
