Laerskool Louw Geldenhuys hosts an inter-house sports event that show off their best athletes.

Great sportsmanship and an awesome show of athletic prowess were on show at the Laerskool Louw Geldenhuys inter-house sports event recently.

The young athletes left nothing to chance when they took part in the track and field events to hopefully come out on top and boy, did they.

Martin Bensch with Sofia van Gass, the best junior track athlete in the girls’ category.

Many skills were showcased through athletes’ skills such as jumping and running. Not surprisingly, according to the school’s Yolandie Jonker, records were broken.

Athletes such as Nina Els won the best senior track athlete girls as well as the champion of champions title. Divan Ferreira won the best senior track athlete boys and the title of champion of champions too.
