Hobbies take over De La Salle Holy Cross College

The junior school leaners gained new skills as they were taught something new from their teachers.

It was Hobby Day at De La Salle Holy Cross College Junior School recently and the children got creative.

Presented by the teachers, the day gave learners the opportunity to experience various hobbies.

The hobbies on offer were, kit making, Harry Potter, collectables, no-cook baking, Christmas decorations, how to construct a balloon-powered car, nail and string art, how to create a worm farm, herb gardening, mountain biking, running and CrossFit.

“Thank you to the awesome teachers for all the preparation in making a day like today successful and to the children for their enthusiasm to try something new. A fabulous day was had by all,” said teacher Gill Steele
