Exciting new exhibition featuring diverse artists in Melville coming soon

Titled Binocular Vision, the display will feature perspectives by three veteran artists and younger ones to create a diverse show.

“Titled Binocular Vision, the display will feature perspectives by three veteran artists and younger ones to show multi-generational work that gives a sense of depth to contemporary art in 2022,” says Carol Brown of Curate.a.Space.

Brown says the veteran artists of this group are those who have been exhibiting and working successfully for many years and experienced changes both in techniques and mindsets. Each has developed their own artistic identity whilst living through many of South Africa’s metamorphises.

Their work has evolved into contemporary expression without forsaking their particular styles.

Showing them alongside relatively new artists enables us to appreciate shifting visions in which personal identity is an important element in art practice.
