Dabulamanzi Canoe Club training camp looks to develop canoe polo players

A regional training camp was recently held at Dabulamanzi Canoe Club (Dabs) and served as a valuable opportunity for players to hone their skills in canoe polo.

The camp’s primary focus was on skills testing, enabling coaches to assess individual players’ abilities and provide personalised feedback. This assessment is meant to lay the groundwork for developing an effective training programme for 2025. Players utilised the camp to practice and improve their skills, participated in tournament-style games, and even enhanced their refereeing skills by shadowing experienced referees.
