Reddford House Northcliff proudly announces the appointment of Caryn Brinkley as the new head of the school. Brinkley, who has served as acting head since April 8, has already made a significant positive impact on the school community.

With extensive experience in education, she is dedicated to academic excellence, student well-being, and community engagement. Brinkley envisions an inclusive environment where every student feels welcome and respected.

Her leadership philosophy emphasises empowerment through collaboration and open communication, involving teachers, students, and parents in decision-making processes. Brinkley believes in the importance of adaptability, empathy, and perseverance.

“Effective teachers must possess empathy, compassion, patience, and a love for learning,” she stated, echoing her belief in kindness combined with resilience. Brinkley credited much of her success to her mother, who encouraged her to pursue her dreams.

Reflecting on her journey from aspiring chef to geography teacher, she advises young people to never give up, stating, “The best decision I have made in my life was to become a teacher.”
Her methodical approach to challenges is encapsulated in her belief that problems should be tackled step by step.

“How do you eat an elephant? Bite by bite,” she explained, highlighting the importance of enjoying each moment along the way.
