Recognising the urgent need to support children in navigating the complexities of modern life, he expanded his initiatives to include workshops aimed at fostering resilience and well-being among the youth.

“The recent Inside Out workshop, inspired by the smash hit Disney movie, focused on teaching participants how to identify a range of emotions, manage their changing feelings, and develop healthy coping mechanisms for difficult emotions.”

The programme addressed common challenges faced by students, including transitioning to new schools, forming friendships, managing peer pressure, and dealing with anxiety and performance expectations.

Providing a safe space for learners to openly discuss their issues, the workshop encouraged participants to learn practical strategies and build supportive connections with their peers, according to Oliver.

Feedback highlighted the workshop’s positive impact, with many learners expressing newfound confidence in their ability to handle life’s challenges while emphasising the importance of learning in a fun and interactive environment.

As Albert Camus once said, “It’s easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” This sentiment resonates deeply in today’s context, where rising rates of anxiety, depression, and suicide among youth are increasingly concerning.

He stated that the Inside Out workshop represents a proactive step towards nurturing strong, emotionally resilient children capable of thriving in the 2020s and beyond.

As the demand for these workshops continues to grow, Oliver remains committed to providing hope and healing through motivational speaking and practical skills training.

He concluded that with each session, the vision of empowering the next generation to face the future with strength and optimism draws closer to fruition.
