The races are mass participation road races, which take place across three major cities on three separate days. Durban, Cape Town, and Johannesburg will play host, and the races cater to both social runners and elite athletes. Everybody is welcome to join, but the prizes will be given, exclusively, to the elite woman runners to celebrate Women’s Month.

“We’re thrilled to triple the excitement of the Totalsports Women’s Race in 2024 by hosting these three iconic events across three cities on three separate days,” said Michael Meyer, managing director of Stillwater Sports. “Each city will have its day to shine as we deliver an exceptional road running experience. We’re excited to share the race’s spirit with diverse communities and empower women from all walks of life.”

With just over three weeks until the start of the race celebrations in Women’s Month, runners and walkers are reminded to secure their spot at the start line before entries run out.

Nikki Crous, head of marketing at Totalsports, said the event is a celebration of women’s strength and empowerment, providing a platform for women from all backgrounds to come together in a high-energy, supportive environment in aid of PinkDrive. This year’s entrants can look forward to an even bigger and better Women’s Celebration, as they feature an impressive elite race, a fantastic on-route experience, live performances by well-known South African artists, and an event atmosphere like no other.

“As race day approaches, entries start to sell out quickly. We urge runners, and walkers, to secure their spot while entries are still available,” said Crous.
