As the game progressed into the second inning, Benoni aimed to turn the tide in their favour. Although they managed to get a runner on base, they were unable to convert it into runs before being dismissed by the Express fielders.

Express players were riding high on their early lead, returned to bat in the second inning and added six more runs to their tally, extending their advantage to 8–0. Determined to make a comeback, Benoni players found their rhythm in the third inning.

With impressive batting performances, they added a total of 10 runs to their score before the Express defence could secure the three crucial outs. Express, feeling the pressure, went in to bat in the third inning, but Benoni displayed fielding skills, taking three quick outs and denying their opponents any additional runs.

In the fourth inning, Benoni continued their impressive batting display, adding a remarkable 14 runs to their score before finally being dismissed by the Express fielders. With a commanding lead, Benoni made a pitching change in the hopes of maintaining their advantage.

Express, however, struggled to make headway and failed to score any additional runs. Entering the final inning, Benoni remained determined to secure their victory. With a display of skill and precision, they managed to add more runs to their score before the final out was made.

Facing a considerable deficit, Express fought bravely in their last opportunity to turn the match around. However, they could only manage to add two more runs before Benoni secured the final out, sealing their victory with a final score of 32–10. Benoni celebrated a well-deserved win, with their batting and fielding performances earning them the away win.
