Young voters of Orban School vote in new snacks

The primary school learners held their own elections which saw them vote which snack to be implemented at the tuck shop.

It was election day at Orban School recently and the day’s aim was to find out which new snacks would make it into the tuck shop.

Votes, which were made in either one of the four voting booths on hand, were cast for either Doritos, Rolo or sweet and salty popcorn to be included in tuck shop. The Grade 7s were election officials and there was a voter’s roll for each grade. Upon entry into the hall, where the elections were held, the officials explained the process.
