Generational fun at Roosevelt Park Pre-Primary School

Roosevelt Park Pre-Primary School hosted a grandparents school day, and witnessed an array of fun activities to do with learners.

In the spirit of love and family Roosevelt Park Pre-Primary School as the school community recently came together to celebrate a heartwarming Grandparent’s Day.

With excitement and pride, the students welcomed their grandparents. As they walked hand in hand through the hallways, the children eagerly shared the wonders of their school life, showcasing their classrooms, artwork, and favourite spots.

The little ones loved the chance to show them around their special school, offering baked treats and tea, creating crafts together, and putting on a special show, especially for them.

The fun did not stop there, as the day’s celebrations included a heartfelt and captivating show, exclusively performed for the beloved grandparents. The learners poured their hearts and talents into singing and dancing, ensuring a truly memorable experience for the doting audience.

Many of the grandparents were previously school parents, and loved the chance to come back and visit as grandparents. The school thanked all the grandparents for joining them for such a happy morning filled with moments that they will cherish.
