Malega Kganakga: If I were president I would make a no littering allowed law. If you were caught littering, you would have to pay a very big fine and clean up.
Imagine having the power to enforce new rules that improve how people in a community live.
The children of Northwest Christian School imagined having such power and answered the question of what they would do with it.
A few of their learners took the time to tells us what they would do if they were president of our glorious country.
Here is what they said:
Malega Kganakga: If I were president I would make a no littering allowed law. If you were caught littering, you would have to pay a very big fine and clean up.Adriel Naidoo: I were president I would make more Christian schools so we can do praise and worship everyday. Our country would be famous for singing and praising Jesus.
Aiden Du Plessis: I were president I would make the weekend longer so we have more time to play cricket.Aimee Stanier: I were president of our beautiful country, I would make a festival or funfair for each month to celebrate something special about our people or land.Joshua Martin: If I were president I would make our country safer by giving rewards for kindness. The safest province gets free petrol for a day.Felicity Hemphill: I would build more churches so more people can learn about God and pray more. God is very important, and He would help me be a good president.Anna Payton: If I were president I would have ‘care for pets’ month so our pets could get extra TLC. Everyone needs a pet, they make us happy and then our country can be more happy too.
