I adore netball and believe I will represent South Africa internationally one day.
Currently I play for the Mvuthuluzo team and reaching for my dreams.
I have school during the week but I make sure to train every weekend because that is how I aim to achieve my goals.
I have been playing since I was nine as a goalkeeper and centre.
I was once allowed to play at provincials with other teams. We played very well and we won and it was my first time playing for a prize.
Our coach was very happy that we won and asked us to come to training the following day.
He then chose players who would be going to play internationally. Unfortunately, I was not chosen because I was under age at the time.
I was very hurt and disappointed, but very happy for my teammates who were chosen to represent us.
I want to be like Bongiwe (Proteas captain) and believe with the support I get from my family I will do it.
To everyone who wishes to play netball, I encourage them to never give up on their dreams.
