It has been a difficult year but Van Dyk hopes the looming elections might bring some relief.
Ward 99 councillor Nicole van Dyk hopes that 2024 might bring an uptick of positive change for the city.
“I would like to take the time to wish all residents all over the city a happy and peaceful new year.
“It has been a trying year with constant service delivery challenges but all residents need to take hope that there is an election next year where we can change things in this country and this city.
“Enjoy this festive season with your family. Be kind to one another and let’s let love lead the way into a brilliant new year.”
