The Plange family remembers Conrad Plange, a man described as a brilliant engineer, community stalwart, businessman and philanthropist.
After his studies, Conrad became a security engineer at Eskom, designing systems protecting power stations against threats such as terrorism and adverse weather. In later years, he and a friend developed quality accommodation and care facilities for the aged in the Randburg and Roodepoort areas, which were later sold to The Flower Foundation. He and his wife, Amanda, lived in Northcliff prior to the birth of their children, Oscar and Desiree.
His memorial service will be held at Lutheran Church in Bryanston on November 17 at 11:00.
