Learners at Roosevelt High School recognised for excellence

Over 100 students were rewarded for outstanding achievements as part of the school's celebration of success.

Roosevelt High School recently held its much-anticipated awards ceremony to recognise brilliance within the school.

Two sets of awards were handed in an event enjoyed by all in attendance.

The Representative Council of Learners held its awards ceremony where pupils receive their much sought-after leadership hats. The old tradition of the school was reintroduced by principal Willie de Wet and other educators as another way of instilling pride in activities undertaken by learners.

Another 100 learners also received awards that stemmed from achievements at the end-of-year examinations in 2022, as well as for sports and culture.
