A career expo for King David Schools

Learners as well as their parents gathered at Sandton Shul where they learned about the many available options to them post-matric.

An annual Careers Expo held for King David Schools was recently at the Sandton Shul.

The event saw Grades 11 and 12 as well as their parents explore a variety of options open to the youth.

Gita Lipschitz, a counsellor at King David Victory Park said King David Schools understand the importance of giving students access to a variety of tertiary study options, both locally and internationally, so that they can make educated career choices. “The education space is constantly evolving and presenting new opportunities for students. It’s important for students to keep up with these changes and be open to exploring new and emerging fields,” said Lipschitz.

Also in attendance of the event was the Lithuanian Ambassador to South Africa, Dainius Junevicius.

Lipschitz said in addition to the traditional universities, an array of Technikons, gap year options, and academies were present from South Africa, Israel, and Lithuania
