Lynette Nicholson runs a small kitten rescue centre at her home in Fairland to care for those too young to survive without specialist care. She has been doing this virtually non-stop for a decade and has saved countless kittens.
In an article titled, Fairland rescue is helping kittens [Week ending August 5, 2022], Nicholson explains that young cats are often abandoned or separated from their mother. This requires them to need expert care until they are old, and well enough to be adopted
She is currently looking after three brothers, each with slightly different markings but all ‘grey and gorgeous’.
They are thought to be about nine weeks old and have been tested for feline Aids and leukaemia, and tested negative. They have also had their first vaccinations and been dewormed.
Adoption checks will be performed and adoption rules and fees applicable for any medical are received apply.
