Braaimasters bring their best to Northcliff

Local chefs cook up a storm as they compete at Joburg's Toughest Braaimaster.

Community members were treated when Meat World Northcliff hosted Joburg’s Toughest Braaimaster on May 28.

Four chefs competed for ultimate bragging rights while shoppers could enjoy a taste or two at L’Corro Shopping Centre.

Radio station 947 live-broadcasted the event while Six Gun Grill handed out prizes to random members of the audience.

“I was very happy with the turnout,” said one of Meat World Northcliff’s directors, Luis Dos Santos.

“The highlight was seeing new faces that we have not seen before. The event gave us exposure to the community. I was talking to some people who lived in the area for years and they didn’t even know we existed before.”
