Challah baking at King David Victory Park
VICTORY PARK – Parents enjoyed an evening with their children as they bonded over braided bread.

Challah-baking at King David Victory Park Primary School brought parents and children even closer.
According to the website, My Jewish Learning, challah is a braided bread that is a Jewish Sabbath and holiday bread.
Nirvana Rogers, the school’s marketing manager, said at the school it had become an annual ritual for Grade 1 parents to unplug, relax, and connect with their children.

She added that it was no different for this year’s group of Grade 1 parents and the parents of King David Ariel, the school’s remedial education section, as they enjoyed an uplifting evening baking challah.
